With a bit of divine intervention, the heroes are able to make some progress on the final fight. They achieve a victory that cannot be undone.

In this session…
The party makes it to the end again. Thorin’s plea for divine intervention is answered, granting them a temporary tactical advantage. They make use of this to great effect, and the twins’ divine shield is shattered permanently.
Back at the tavern, the group celebrates their progress and makes plans for the next fight. Lucia will use a shard of the broken divine shield for… something.
For next time
They’re getting close to the end! For next session, I need to:
- Figure out what benefit the broken divine shield can offer
- Write up some additional favors for the PCs
- Solidify what happens after the twins are defeated
- Write some more scenarios for the NPCs
