Recap

Last session, Nala and Sora got ambushed by members of Deep Wing, a mysterious crime organization. The rest of the group is elsewhere, except for Daear. He had split off from the main group to do some investigating. After overhearing that some Deep Wing agents were heading towards Nala’s favored tavern, he went to see whether Nala was involved.

In this session…

Sora heals Nala and tries to clear a path through the attackers for them to escape. As they do so, Daear sees them. He and Baala’rug use teleportation to pull the whole rest of the group over to the fight.

While it wasn’t a seamless victory, the group successfully deals with the agents. Daear uses mass suggestion to convince the conscious ones to surrender and cooperate with them. They learn that Savanti, the leader of Deep Wing, is aiming to capture Nala. After some questioning, they ask one of the agents to pass along a request for an audience with Savanti.

The next day, the group goes with the charmed agent to the Deep Wing headquarters. There’s a façade of “business as usual”, but every agent there seems ready for a fight if need be.

Savanti is a blue topaz dragonborn. The party meets her in her office. She deals in information, so the group has a chance at receiving some helpful intel if they have information to trade in return…

We’ll have to tread carefully and figure out our strategy for next session!
