We had another session of my roguelike campaign this weekend! In these posts, I talk about my roguelike-inspired D&D campaign sessions.
In this session…
The party made it into the second area again! Their progress meant that two new NPCs were introduced to the tavern area. The group now has access to research and training opportunities. This will help them multiclass if that’s an option they’re interested in.
The group enjoyed roleplaying with the NPCs new to the tavern area. They have more options for who they can interact with, so I’m interested to see what they’ll do moving forward. They also brought up a few things I’ll need to figure out for next time.
For next time
The party is level 5, so the cleric has access to revivify. This can be a game changer during dungeon runs. But, I need to figure out how a few things will work for this campaign, including:
- Cost components for spells
- Learning new skill proficiencies
In this campaign, the characters don’t have access to standard currency, resources, or downtime like they normally would. I’ll need to come up with a unique system to deal with this. Wish me luck!
